Our Mission

Empower Her Future walks alongside young women ages 16-26 in Hamilton County who are facing their toughest challenges. We don’t recreate the wheel—instead, we connect participants to already established community services with proven track records of success. What sets us apart is what happens next: we remove the barriers that keep young women from engaging, we encourage them through every step until completion, and we become the consistent support system for the tough questions, the late-night doubts, and the conversations around dreaming and goal setting that rarely happen elsewhere.

Through our unique combination of mentorship, life skills education, financial literacy training, and employment readiness support, we give these young women the tools, encouragement, and accountability they need to achieve independence and break cycles of poverty.

But the transformation doesn’t stop there. When a young woman begins to see her worth, set boundaries, pursue education, and build a stable life, everyone in her orbit feels the impact. Her children see a different model of what’s possible. Her family witnesses resilience in action. Her future employer gains a dedicated employee. Her community gains a leader. This is how we create ripple effects of change—one young woman, one relationship, one conversation at a time.

Why We Exist

Many young women in Hamilton County grow up without access to guidance, mentorship, or the foundational skills needed for financial independence and career success. Young women facing their toughest challenges are particularly vulnerable, often lacking support at home and in school to navigate education, job readiness, and life skills.

While Hamilton County offers programs focused on financial literacy and job readiness, there is currently no service specifically designed to provide consistent mentorship and personalized guidance for young women in vulnerable populations. Many have access to resources but lack the motivation, support, and role models needed to engage with them effectively.

Our Solution: Empower Her Future bridges this gap by connecting young women to existing resources while providing the mentorship, encouragement, and follow-through support that ensures they actually use them to change their lives.
